Partition Aik Safar

Partition Aik Safar is a Pakistani period drama serial aired on Geo Entertainment in 2005 and was directed by Raana Sheikh. The drama was launched on the occasion of 60th Independence Day of Pakistan. It features an ensemble cast of Madiha Iftikhar, Samiya Mumtaz, Farah Shah, Babar Ali, Shamil Khan, Adnan Siddiqui, Sami Khan, Sakina Samo, Faisal Rehman and Meekal Zulfiqar. The story of the series covers the time period of 1947 to present time and spans over three different generations of a family.[1][2][3] Besides Pakistan, the series was also shoot in India and Bangladesh, the foreign locations include Mumbai, Ajmer, Dehli, Lucknow and Dhaka.[1][4] At 5th Lux Style Awards, the series received Best Actress Satellite nomination for Shah's performance.
