Paul Erickson (trade unionist)
Paul Erickson is the 12th National Secretary of the Australian Labor Party.

Political career
He worked for the Australian Council of Trade Unions in research and data.[1]
In 2014, he commenced as the Assistant National Secretary of the Australian Labor Party.[1][2]
Following the resignation of Noah Carroll in 2019, Erickson was appointed Acting National Secretary and then was appointed to the role permanently on 16 August 2019.[1][3] Erickson is a member of the Left faction.[1]
Personal life
Erickson grew up in Victoria.[1] He holds a bachelor's degree in Arts and Economics from Melbourne University.[1] It was here he became involved in student politics, and was elected president of the University of Melbourne ALP Club in 2003.
