Pepi Sonuga

Pepi Sonuga (born 8 September 1993) is a Nigerian-American actress and singer. She is best known for playing the role of "Tangey Turner" in "Famous in Love"[1] and "Lacey" in "Ash vs. Evil Dead". She has also featured in "The Fosters", "General Hospital" and "Mortal Kombat X: Generations".

Early life and education

Pepi was born in 1993 to a Yoruba father and an Igbo mother. She had the ambition of being an actress from a very young age and moved to the United States of America at the age of ten. At the age of 15, Pepi contested and was named Miss Teen Los Angeles. She attended Culver City High School in California.

Career

Prior to becoming an actress, Pepi had a stint as a model after winning the Miss Teen Los Angeles pageant.[2] Her drama career however started in 2013 when she was given a role in "The Life Of A King". She has since featured in other movies and TV comedy-horror series such as "Ash VS Evil Dead".

Personal life

Pepi was born in Lagos[3] as such, she is devoted to Nigerian culture. She loves to write and sing.
