Petit catéchisme de la réforme sociale

Petit catéchisme de la réforme sociale (Small catechism of social reform) is a French political pamphlet penned by socialist journalist Richard Lahautière in June 1839. The pamphlet was written in the catechism format, which was popular among socialist and communist writers of the period.[1] The pamphlet is notable as being the first major work of the harsher Neo-Babouvian form of socialism, which contrasted with the more idealistic Icarian philosophy of utopian socialism.
