Rachel Mbuki Marete Litvishkova is a Kenyan American TV Host, Actress and Former Miss Kenya that represented Kenya at the Miss Universe Pageant in 2005.[1]

Early life

Rachel Mbuki was born and raised in Nairobi Kenya where she lived until the age of 20 when she relocated to the United States of America.she had been on television since the age of six on Kenya’s KBC Network as host on a children’s’ Christian TV show.[1]


Pageantry and Modelling

Rachel Mbuki is a former Miss Kenya who represented Kenya at the Miss Universe pageant at the age of 18. A top Kenyan model, TV Host, wife and entrepreneur, she moved to Miami shortly after her reign as Miss Kenya where she pursued her modeling career and made her American TV Hosting debut. In Kenya, she had been on television since the age of six on Kenya’s KBC Network as host on a children’s’ Christian TV show. As an adult, Rachel continued to host multiple shows on the channel and was one of the two main Hosts of the “Good Morning Kenya” breakfast show when she left for Miami to work as a model.[2]

Activist

Rachel is a victim of cyber bullying. It became so bad to the extent that a campaign was raised simply to combat her bullies. When she finally won the battle, she decided to fight and support those who are being bullied on social media thus becoming an anti-bullying Activist.[3][4]

TV Host

Rachel Mbuki has 18 years’ experience as a TV host between America and Africa having been on TV since she was a child. In Miami, she quickly transitioned from being a model to being a TV host when she worked as an on air correspondent for some notable events. In furthering her TV hosting career, Rachel moved to Los Angeles later where she pursued a career in Journalism and completed her Broadcast Journalism and Communication degrees, after which she became a news anchor at Transit TV Los Angeles. Rachel Mbuki has covered other major events such as the NBA All Star Games, The Academy Awards, movie premier red carpets and LA Fashion Week.[5] [6]

Rachel Mbuki has a fashion store called 'Mbuki’s Closet'. Rachel debuted her fashion line - 'Werk Gal Apparel' for career Women in the United States of America. Rachel has also managed to build a very successful career in Corporate Medical DME Sales over the last decade.[7] [8]

Brand Influencer

Rachel Mbuki’s passion for fashion and modelling has given her great chances to stand for various brands as their brand influencer and spokesperson. Rachel has also been a representative of corporate companies, helping various companies promote and grow their brands. These include fashion and design brands, she has also been a brand ambassador of health and beauty companies such as; Sol Beauty and Care, Taper Shaper.[9]

Personal life

In October 22nd 2020, Rachel married her longtime partner Dmitry Litvishkov, in a ceremony held in beautiful Makena Cove in Hawaii.[10]
