Richard Cheeseman Jr.

Richard John "Rick" Cheeseman Jr. (born 1966)[1] is a United States Navy rear admiral and surface warfare officer who serves as commander of Carrier Strike Group 10 since December 14, 2020. He previously served as commander of Carrier Strike Group 2 with tours as commanding officer of the USS Bulkeley (DDG-84) and USS Monterey (CG-61).[2][3] Raised in Carney's Point, New Jersey, Cheeseman earned a B.S. degree from Pennsylvania State University in 1989. He later received a master's degree in joint campaign planning and strategy from the Joint Advanced Warfighting School at the Joint Forces Staff College in 2007.[2]
