Robin Wonsley Worlobah
Robin Wonsley Worlobah is an American activist and politician who is the member-elect of the Minneapolis City Council from the 2nd Ward. She was elected in 2021 defeating 14 year incumbent Cam Gordon, a member of the Green Party of Minnesota.[1] Although technically an independent, she is a pro-socialism and pro-democracy member of the Democratic Socialists of America.[2] Her main issues are police reform, racial justice, and economic growth.[3]

Born in Chicago, she lives in the Seward neighborhood of Minneapolis which is mostly residential and includes the former agri-industrial district along Hiawatha Avenue. The 2nd ward, which she represents, includes a majority of Southeast Minneapolis from the former flour mill area to the famous Minnehaha Falls.[4]
