Rod MacSween

Rod MacSween is the founder and CEO of International Talent Booking (ITB).[1] He was known for bringing artists such as: The Who, Pink Floyd and Robert Plant’s Band of Joy to the University of Exeter.[2] While studying there, in 1969, he was elected secretary of the Students Guild.[3]

Biography

MacSween was born in Southampton, England to parents were both academics. [4]

Recognition

In 2015, MacSween received a Classic Rock Roll of Honor (VIP) Award.[5] [6] In 2019 the academic institution awarded him with an honorary doctorate degree for his contribution to the music world.[7] Other artists he has represented over the years include: Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, [8] Bon Jovi (and KISS),[9] Def Leppard,[10] Guns N' Roses,[11] Lenny Kravitz,[12] Maroon 5,[13] Ozzy Osbourne,[4] Pearl Jam,[14] The Scorpions,[15] Tool[16] and The Who.[17]
