Rza Talibov

Rza Talibov (Azerbaijani: Rza Vasif oğlu Talıbov; born 10 May 1982, Nakhchivan, Azerbaijan SSR) is an Azerbaijani retired colonel of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. He is Chief of the Citizenship Issues Head Department of the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He is Associate professor at the Bake State University.[1][2]

Life and activity

Talibov Rza Vasif oglu was born on May 10, 1982 in the city of Nakhchivan, Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. In 1999, he graduated from Nakhchivan City Russian Secondary School № 3. He enrolled military service in 2003-2004.

He has a bachelors degree and master's degree from the Baku State University.[3] in 2009, he was awarded the PHD degree in Political Science by the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.[4] In 2013, he graduated from the University of Oxford, UK, SAID Business School's Advanced Management Program. In 2014, he achieved a master's degree from Anglia Ruskin University in the United Kingdom.

In 2007, he started working as a referent in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 2010, he left the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and began working as a lecturer at the Department of International Relations of Baku State University.[3] In 2015, he received the title of associate professor.

He started working at State Migration Service of Azerbaijan Republic from 2015, now he is the Chief of Citizenship Issues Head Department. By the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated March 16, 2018, he has been awarded high special rank of III rank State Migration Service Counselor.[1] He is a retired colonel.
