Saudi Association for Energy Economics


Saudi Association for Energy Economics (SAEE) is a nonprofit association based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. SAEE was first established in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia in 2009 and became an affiliate of the International Association of Energy Economics (IAEE), which is a global, nonprofit organization founded in 1977 and based in the United States. In 2020, SAEE moved to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and was reorganized with new bylaws and license No. 1998 with strategic partnership with King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC).

SAEE objectives

The objectives of this organization are:

  1. To create a forum for professional discussion in energy economics.
  2. To provide means of professional communication and exchange of experience and ideas in energy economics.
  3. To promote professional communication among energy professionals and other industries within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other countries.
