Sazhi Umalatova

Sazhi Zayndinovna Umalatova (born 3 August 1953) is a Russian politician.

Political career

She was a member of the Supreme Soviet of the Soviet Union, and called for Mikhail Gorbachev to resign in 1990.[1] She resigned from the Communist Party of the Soviet Union in 1991.

She is the leader of the Party of Peace and Unity, which she founded in 1996.[2] The Umalatova awards are issued by her.[3]
