Premise
Set in 1950s London where a desperate Hollywood film producer sets out to turn a popular West End play into a film. When members of the production are murdered, world-weary Inspector Stoppard (Rockwell) and overzealous rookie Constable Stalker (Ronan) find themselves in the midst of a puzzling whodunit within London's glamorous Theatreland and sordid underground.

- Harris Dickinson as Dickie Attenborough, Sheila Sim's suspicious husband.
- Reece Shearsmith as John Woolf, the esteemed film producer looking to shoot magic adapting a popular stage play to film.
- Pippa Bennett-Warner as Ann Saville, Woolf's assistant and mistress.
- Jacob Fortune-Lloyd as Gio, the inscrutably handsome taxidermist hiding a secret lover.

Production
In November 2020 it was reported that Saoirse Ronan, Sam Rockwell, and David Oyelowo had signed on to star in an untitled mystery film for Searchlight Pictures, with Tom George on board to direct from a screenplay by Mark Chappell.[2] One month later, Adrien Brody joined the cast.[3] In February 2021, Ruth Wilson was added to the cast.[4] In April, it was announced that Reece Shearsmith also landed a role and that filming had wrapped.[5] Pippa Bennett-Warner was revealed as part of the cast in May.[6] In July 2021, it was announced the film was titled See How They Run, with the additions of Sian Clifford, Jacob Fortune-Lloyd, Shirley Henderson, Paul Chahidi, Pearl Chanda and Charlie Cooper.[7]
