Sello Maake kaNcube is a South African actor. He has worked not only in his native land but in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Europe as well.[2] He narrated a 2008 natural history documentary Africa's Outsiders about unusually pigmented (albino) wild animals, which was aired by Animal Planet.

Early life

Maake kaNcube was born in Orlando East, Soweto, South Africa. He later moved to Atteridgeville, Pretoria, where he grew up. He changed his surname to Maake kaNcube in honor of his stepfather and his biological father.

Television

In his native country, he is best known for his leading roles in the long running soap opera Generations as Archie Moroka and on the ETV soap opera Scandal! as a villainous character called Lucas "Daniel" Nyathi. He also starred as the flamboyant Kgosietsile in Mzansi Magic's telenovela, The Queen[3] and as a corrupt politician in Mzansi Magic's Rockville.
