Sharivka Manor
Sharivka castle is a manor in Gothic Revival style located in Ukraine in Sharivka village, Kharkiv Oblast, about 60 km away from Kharkiv.

History
This building made of white stones was commissioned in early XIX century by Olkhovsky family, which subsequently sold it to von Hebenstrein family in 1881. The latter undertook thorough renovation of the building and later sold it to Leopold Koenig, a sugar tycoon of German origin. Koenig expanded the castle and improved the park designed by the previous owner, this time assisted by Georg Kuphaldt. The façade of the castle overlooks large multilevel terraces, which go down to the park. The castle is surrounded by a moat crossed by small stone bridges. The whole territory measures forty-three hectares (it was seventy hectares before 1917).
Under the Soviets and until 2008, the building was used as a sanatorium for tuberculosis patients. Restoration of the park began in 2009 but still lacks funding.
