Sharp Stick

Sharp Stick is an upcoming American independent film written, directed, and produced by Lena Dunham, who also stars with Kristine Froseth, Taylour Paige, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Jon Bernthal, and Scott Speedman. It will premiere at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival.[1]

Production

Filming for Sharp Stick began in Los Angeles during the COVID-19 pandemic.[2] On March 2, 2021, it was announced that production had concluded and that the project would be offered to potential buyers at the 71st Berlin International Film Festival.[3][4] The film, in which she also stars, was written and directed by Lena Dunham, in her second feature film directing credit since the 2010 film Tiny Furniture.[5] In August 2021, it was confirmed that Tommy Dorfman would also star.[6]
