Shruti Sharma (actress)

Shruti Sharma (born 5 July 1994) is an Indian actress who primarily works in Hindi television.[2] She debuted in television as a contestant on the reality show India's Next Superstars in 2018 and subsequently appeared in the fiction TV serials Gathbandhan, Nazar 2, Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka! and Namak Issk Ka.[3]

Career

In 2018, Sharma entered Hindi television as a participant in StarPlus's India's Next Superstars and emerged as the winner.[4]

That year she made her Telugu film debut with Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya opposite Naveen Polishetty.[5]

In 2019, she bagged her first main lead character in Gathbandhan on Colors TV as IPS Dhanak Parekh, a police officer who marries a don.[6]

In 2020, she worked in Gul Khan's Star Plus supernatural productions Nazar 2 as Palak Verma and Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka! as Shayari.[7]

From November 2020 to August 2021, she starred in Khan's Namak Issk Ka on Colors TV portraying the double role of Kahani Verma/Chamcham and Satya Verma.[8]
