Siddiqur Rahman (Patuakhali politician)
Siddiqur Rahman politician of Barguna District of Bangladesh and former member of Parliament for then Patuakhali-2 constituency,[1] which currently is Barguna-1, in 1979. He was a freedom fighter in the 1971 independence war.

Career
Right after the independence war, Siddiqur Rahman was elected as the chairman of 3 no Phuljhury Union, Barguna. Siddiqur Rahman was elected a member of parliament from Undivided Patuakhali-2 a Awami League candidate in 1979 Bangladeshi general election.[2] He later became the president of Barguna Zilla Awami League.
