Skytropolis Funland

Skytropolis Funland, also known as Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park (Chinese: 天城室内游乐园), is an amusement park located within SkyAvenue and First World Plaza in Resorts World Genting, Genting Highlands, Malaysia.[1] The park was previously known as the First World Plaza Indoor Theme Park before being refurbished.[2]

The theme park features tons of rides including a merry-go-round, ferris wheel, carousel, bumper cars, roller coasters and also a new virtual reality experience, The VOID.

History

The park was part of a major transformation project under the 10-year master plan of development, expansion, enhancement and refurbishment of hotels, theme park and infrastructure at Resorts World Genting. It replaced the previous First World Indoor Theme Park and Genting Indoor Theme Park which was closed on September 2013 to make way for the construction.[3][4]

The park began its operations on 8 December 2018 as a soft opening with a few rides and attractions at first.
