History

Formed in June 2020 in Zurich, Swiss School of Business Research GMBH was accredited by EduQua in September 2020. EduQua is an accreditation body recognized and supported by the Swiss Confederate Government and SSBR has been granted approval to issue bachelors, master and doctorate degrees. SSBR also became an approved centre for OTHM qualifications in September 2020. In November SSBR became an approved Google for Education Institution (now Google Workspace for Education Fundamentals).

Although Swiss School of Business Research is an online institution, they have access to a campus in Barcelona, Spain for presential classes.

Since 2021 Swiss School of Business Research has arranged partnership agreements with more than a dozen universities and business schools worldwide offering SSBR courses at a local level.[2]

Academic programs

Swiss School of Business Research offers business programs at bachelor, master and doctoral levels taught in English.

Programs include bachelor's degree in International Management with different specializations such as International Management, Digital Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Sports Management, also Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) and Doctor of Philosophy in Management (PhD). In June 2021, SSBR introduced a new programme: Ph.D by Portfolio or Doctor of Philosophy by publication.[3] This degree can be completed within one year. The award enables candidates to obtain academic recognition for pre existing research, comprehensive research skills and subject knowledge that meets a doctoral level. The programme is completed remotely.

Accreditation status

Swiss School of Business Research is professionally accredited by the main Swiss education body EduQua [4] EduQua certification is a Swiss Quality Label for Adult and Further Education Institutions and an accreditation body recognized and supported by the Swiss Confederate Government[5]

SSBR is also an approved centre for OTHM Qualification[6]

Charitable endeavors

HOPE has partnered with Swiss School of Business Research for the course and certificate accreditation. HOPE which stands for Higher Opportunities For People Through Education is an organisation that is dedicated for the distribution of equal education for all, providing education with University and professional awards to refugees.

With this partnership, the refugees that pass the programs or courses provided by HOPE will have a certification from SSBR. SSBR is also offering grants to selected refugees so that they can continue their higher education there. [7]
