Taming the Garden is a 2020 Swiss-German-Georgian documentary film written and directed by Salomé Jashi. The film premiered in the Forum section at the 71st Berlin International Film Festival.[2]

Reception
On review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, the film has an approval rating of 100% based on eight critics, with an average rating of 7.3/10.[3]
Taming the Garden was lauded at the Sundance Film Festival for its "astonishing cinematic style".[4]
Attending the film's premiere at the Locarno Festival, Alan Ng of Film Threat wrote "...present a thesis, provide facts and theories from both sides and let's have a conversation".[5]
Jessica Kiang of Variety called Taming the Garden as "Surreal, serene and maybe just a little bit sacred".[1]
