The Child (poem)
The Child is an English poem written by Rabindranath Tagore in 1930.[1][2] It was his only poem originally written in English.[1][2] Later, he translated it in Bengali as "Sishutirtha".[1] It was Tagore's outstanding poem in his poetic career.[2]
