The Plot Against the President is a 2020 documentary film directed by Amanda Milius. It is based on the book of the same name by Lee Smith, which depicts the alleged involvement of The Democratic National Committee officials in initiating and advancing the Special Counsel investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections.[2][3]
