The Unsung Heroes (film)

The Unsung Heroes is a 2017 Malayalam-language documentary film written, produced and directed by Baburaj Asariya under his own banner Collective Frames.[2][3][4] Its story is based on a journey through ambulance drivers' real life and their 24/7 service to the public and nation. G Krishna was the film's cinematographer, Sound designing was done by Vijay Sooryan and its soundtrack and score were composed by Sreenath S Vijayg.

The Unsung Heroes was released in Kerala on 1 May 2017[5][6] and globally on 5 December 2017 though Amazon Prime Video.[1] It received critical acclaim with praise going through its unique theme, music, cinematography, editing and screenplay.[1]

Plot

The Unsung Heroes story is based on ambulance drivers' real life and their journey to save lives on wheels.[3][1] Their ability to drive quickly while still remaining responsible can not only mean a life is saved but prevent more injuries or casualties from occurring.[2] These individuals are very much the unsung heroes for their perseverance to operate in high-stress situation every day, and their courage, compassion and dedication to save lives.[2]
