Thummala Narsimha Reddy

Thummala Narasimha Reddy (9 January 1976 – 10 May 2021), commonly known as TNR, was an Indian Telugu interview host, film journalist and actor. He was famous for his interview shows in the name of "Frankly Speaking with TNR". Many Telugu film actors, technicians and other celebrities were interviewed as part of the "Frankly Speaking with TNR" show, many of which received millions of views on YouTube.

Early life

Thummala Narasimha Reddy was born on 9 January 1976 in Mancherial.[1] His father Rajireddy is a local politician, Rajireddy was elected as sarpanch of Mancherial three times. TNR was raised by his older sister as he lost his mother at an early age.

TNR completed his schooling at Saraswati Shishumandir school and degree at Vivekavardhini college from Hyderabad.[2]

Career

TNR joined Telugu film industry right after his college graduation. He learnt about direction from Devadas kanakala, a popular Telugu director.[3] Then he worked as co-author for L.B.Sri ram. Later he worked as a journalist for many Telugu television channels.

He was popular for his creative crime show Neralu Ghoralu[4] in ETV and crime-stories in NTV.[1]

Death

TNR was affected with COVID-19. He was admitted in SVS private hospital at Kachiguda for treatment, eventually, his condition worsened, resulting in his death on 10 May 2021.[5][6]
