Time and the Hour

Time and the Hour is a 1957 novel by the British writer Howard Spring.[1] Some of the action takes place in the same fictitious Yorkshire town as his 1955 novel These Lovers Fled Awayand two of the characters from that book are mentioned though they do not appear, but it is in no sense a sequel. The title is taken from a line of Shakespeare's Macbeth.
