Tom Clancy's XDefiant

Tom Clancy's XDefiant is an upcoming free-to-play multiplayer competitive first-person fast-paced[1] arena shooter video game in the Tom Clancy's series. Under development by Ubisoft, the setting of the game revolves around factions called "Defiant", Wolves (Ghost Recon), Echelon (Splinter Cell), and the Outcasts and Cleaners (The Division).[2][3] Defiants gun loadouts are customizable with traits, abilities, devices and weapons and items.[4]

Development

A closed beta of a pre-alpha version of XDefiant occurred in North America in 2021.[5] It has 6-versus-6 linear game modes (such as “Domination” and “Escort”). Game has Punk visual art elements.[6]
