Tropical Storm Anita
The name Anita has been used for tropical cyclones in the Atlantic Ocean, the western Pacific Ocean, and the southwestern Indian Ocean.
In the north Atlantic Ocean (1):
- Hurricane Anita (1977), Category 5 hurricane that made a powerful landfall in northern Mexico
The name Anita was retired following this storm, and will never be used for a north Atlantic hurricane again.
