Tropical Storm Otto
The name Otto was used for three tropical cyclones in the Atlantic Ocean and for one in the Western Pacific Ocean.
In the Atlantic:
- Tropical Storm Otto (2004), a weak late season tropical storm that remained far from land
- Hurricane Otto (2010), brought heavy rain to parts of the Caribbean Sea before moving out into the Atlantic Ocean
- Hurricane Otto (2016), a late season major hurricane which made landfall in Nicaragua and caused torrential rains over Central America; the first storm since 1996 to cross over from the Atlantic to the Pacific.
The name Otto was retired from future use in Atlantic after the 2016 storm and was replaced with Owen for use in 2022.
In the Western Pacific:
- Typhoon Otto (1998) (T9802, 04W, Bising), struck China.
