Troy A. Miller
Troy A. Miller is the current Commissioner of the United States Customs and Border Protection, a role he has held since July 2021.[1]

Miller attended Bemidji State University and earned his bachelor's degree, and also attends the John F. Kennedy School of Government in the senior executive fellow program under Harvard University.
He was enrolled into the U.S. Customs Service and was given the rank of Customs Inspector in 1993.[2]
He became assistant commissioner in 2014 for Intelligence and Investigative Liaison and was at the House Committee of Customs.[3] Before he was confirmed as the head of CBP, he was the Director field operations Customs Borders Protection of the New York Field branch office.[4]
Miller was formerly the executive director of the CBP National Targeting Center, a principal organization of the customs, an office he holds from 2013 until 2015 when he was made the assistant commissioner of the Office of Intelligence and Investigative Liaison, he was also assistant Port Director at Seattle, director of Targeting and Analysis, and also directed the Office of Intelligence and Operations Coordination.[2]
CBP
As of 2019, the U.S. Senate had not confirmed a commissioner of customs. Miller has been confirmed as commissioner by the Senate.[5]
