Tsotso

The Tsotso or Abatsotso are a tribe of the Luhya nation in Kenya. They occupy three locations in the Lurambi division of the Kakamega district. The three locations are Bukura, north Butsotso and south Butsotso. Abatsotso has an umbrella called Abamweche who has divided into three clans, i.e., Abamweche Abatsulu (in the Shibeye and Makunga areas), Abamweche Abashikhanga (in the Bukura area) and Abamweche Abamukhwana (in the Shibuli and Ibinzo areas).
