Turiya Sings
Turiya Sings is a 1982 album by Alice Coltrane. It was initially released on privately-pressed cassette for her Vedantic Center's students,[1] and is recordings of devotional Sanskrit songs sung by Coltrane.[2][3] The songs were recorded in 1981. The album was rereleased in July 2021 by Impulse! Records as Kirtan: Turiya Sings. This edition is stripped back, with the original overdubbed synthesizer and string backings removed.[4][5]
