Udayam is a 2004 Indian Malayalam language action thriller film directed by Vinujoemon, starring Anil, Kausalya, Manya in the lead roles, While Devan, Janardhan, Sai Kumar Plays Supporting Role. This movie breaks all conventional stereotypes in malayalam movies because devji doesn't die in this one . Amul star jithu went on to become the rising young action hero after the release of the movie for 2 months , then became field out . Devji still rules malayalam cinema.

Synopsis
After his foster brother Viswanathan gets brutally murdered, Jithu mon IPS (Anil) comes from London to investigate Viswanathan's death. By Investigating the murder, Jithu wants to comes across a local tobacco dealer, Kochuvarkey (Sai Kumar).
