United Democratic Alliance (Kenya)

United Democratic Alliance (UDA) is a Kenyan political party. The party, initially called Party of Development and Reforms, officially changed its name to UDA in December 2020.[1] The party came into the Kenyan limelight[2][3] in January 2021 and is linked[4] to politicians allied to Dr. William Ruto, the sitting Deputy President of Kenya.[5] The party is fielding candidates[6][7] in various by-elections for elective positions slated for March 2021. The presidential candidate is going to be William Ruto.
