University Park Estates, Long Beach, California
University Park Estates is a neighborhood in Long Beach, California. Development began in 1961.[1] It is adjacent to College Park Estates, Bixby Hill, and California State University, Long Beach, and near to the VA Long Beach Healthcare System, Los Cerritos Wetlands, San Gabriel River, and Alamitos Energy Center.

The neighborhood was developed by S&S Construction, now known as Shapell Industries.[2] The company was co-founded by David Shapell, Nathan Shapell, and Max Webb in 1955.[3] Original homes are single-level and tri-level models with vaulted ceilings and open floorplans.[4]
The University Park Estates Neighborhood Association serves the neighborhood.[5][6]
