The film marked Thaman's first film soundtrack he composed for Kalyan and the composer, who is a fanboy of Kalyan, eventually stated it as a "dream-come-true moment" on working with him.[1][3] Initially Thaman had assisted Mani Sharma for the films Kushi, Gudumba Shankar and Balu, starring Pawan Kalyan. While he was working for "Samajavaragamana" from Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Trivikram Srinivas suggested the producer Dil Raju to work on the film's music.[4] Despite being a remake of Pink (2016), the film had made a lot of changes to the original script to suit the Telugu audience, however Thaman stated that the songs are a part of a storytelling process.[4]

On 12 February 2020, Thaman had announced that he is currently working on the production of the first song, with Sid Sriram collaborating with Thaman for the second time after "Samajavaragamana" from Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo with Ramajogayya Sastry writing the lyrics.[5] Later on 26 February, Thaman stated the progress of the song with Fames Macedonian Symphonic Orchestra performing the sessions for it.[5] That song was titled "Maguva Maguva" which is touted to be a "fitting tribute to women",[6] and was released on 8 March 2020 (Women's Day).[7] In September 2020, the lyrical video of the song crossed 30 million views on YouTube.[8]

The production of the other songs and the background score was interrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.[9] Nearly a year after the release of the first single,[10] "Sathyameva Jayate", the second single from the film was unveiled on 3 March 2021.[11][12] The song is picturised on Pawan Kalyan, whom being portrayed as a do-gooding lawyer who fights on behalf of the innocent, unprivileged and weaker sections of society.[13] The third song "Kanti Papa" released on 17 March 2021, is played during the flashback portion featuring the romance track between Kalyan and Shruti Haasan.[14] The team also planned to release a promotional song featuring Pawan Kalyan at the film's pre-release event, but it did not happen.[15] The fourth song "Kadhulu Kadhulu" was unveiled along with the film's soundtrack album on 31 March 2021.[16] A bonus track, which is the female version of "Maguva Maguva" was released on 15 April.[17]

On 18 October 2021, Thaman announced that he was going to be releasing the film's score, due to popular demand, on all streaming platforms in November.[18] The film's score was then released on 16 November 2021 on Aditya Music.[19]

As a part of the film's marketing purposes, #VakeelSaab Music Fest, a promotional music concert was organised by the producers.[20][21] The first edition of this event took place at MLRITM College in Hyderabad on 20 March 2021.[22] Following its response, the second edition of this event was held at Vizag and Kakinada on 23 March 2021.[23] The events were attended by Thaman, Sastry and Sriram as the primary members. Thaman and his musical crew performed all the songs in the promotional music concert,[23] as well as the film's pre-release event held at Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad on 4 April 2021.[24]
