"I don’t hold a degree till now. I joined an airlines as staff and started doing BA English Literature in correspondence. After three years when I was about to join as a manager with another airlines I was not allowed to join because I did not finish my degree. I remember the days when there was just 320 rupees in my bank account.

"For me, television is still big. It is a place where I earned my name as an actor. Films, however, are a different experience. You get to play different characters in a short span of time, which is not the case with TV serials, where a character is played for five consecutive years. The opportunity to play various characters is driving my journey and I’m not interested in joining the popularity race. I don’t want to play that typical heroine character who spends most of the time running around the hero. I want to do interesting roles that challenge me as an actor..
