Vietnam Defence Industry
Vietnam Defence Industry (VDI), officially the General Department of Defence Industry (Vietnamese: Tổng cục Công nghiệp quốc phòng, abbreviated as TCCNQP), is a governmental agency which falls under the management of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defence with the function of organizing and managing key defence industry units including military technology institutes, weapon experts and technologies as well as most indigenous arms factories and suppliers for the People's Army of Vietnam.
