Viola Desmond Public School

Viola Desmond Public School is a K-8 educational institution and elementary school located in Milton, Ontario, Canada. The school takes its name after the Canadian civil rights activist, Viola Desmond.[2] The school offers a free-educational environment with guiding principles placed as a community in-order to develop students' best activity and social-life of learning and education. The school distinguishes itself from the rest of the institutions in the area by its blend of modern architecture and the new 21st century schemes of technological and digital enhancement by learning.

The school draws its students from the surrounding schools, Boyne Public School, Anne J.MacArthur and Tiger Jeet Singh.

Curriculum

The school system is based on the standard Ontario curriculum of education. In addition to the curriculum, the school offers extra-curricular activities and provides chances for students to unleash their full potential and unveil their hidden talents. French Immersion are also available in the school as a replacement for Core-French. A lot of environmental clubs and safety programs are also run by the school as a source of awareness and positivity. Robotics club and design clubs along with digital clubs have also been introduced.
