Vishnu Govind

Vishnu Govind[1] is an Indian film sound designer, sound editor and audio mixer based in Kerala.[2] He has won the Kerala state film awards along with Sree Sankar for best sound design for the movies Unda and Ishq in 2020. He has worked over 150 films in Malayalam, Tamil,[3] Telugu and Hindi.[4]

Life and career

After finishing his graduation in physics from St.Berchmans college Changanassery,[5] he went to Chennai to do his graduation in sound engineering and sound recording from Film and Television Institute of Tamilnadu (FTIT) ( Adayar Film Institute) in 2006-09. He started his career as ADR recordist in AVM studios, Chennai in 2009. Later in 2012 he debuted as sound designer in the Tamil movie Pizza.[6]
