Plot

Dr. Charlie Keegan had a thriving medical practice in New York City until he was caught for insurance fraud. In order to keep his license, he must serve six months working at a nursing home in upstate New York. While he is there, he starts to connect to the residents and staff, and regains a passion for patient care. Meanwhile, the boss who fired him, is the one defrauding insurance companies and residents now. This twist of events puts Charlie in a position to either choose his career or his patients' welfare when his six months are up. Adding to an already complicated situation, Jill, the nurse at the facility, is passionate about the place and always demands the best from Charlie.
