Watani, un monde sans mal, is a 1998 Mauritanian drama film directed and produced by Med Hondo for M.H. Films Productions.[1] The film stars Patrick Poivey and Coumba Awa Tall in the lead roles whereas Mboup Massyla, Anne Jolivet, James Campbell and Sabine Lods made supportive roles.[2][3] The film revolves around two men with different backgrounds face many tragic circumstances after losing their respective jobs.[4]

The film made its premier on 18 March 1998 in France. The film received mixed reviews from critics.[5]
