Westland University, Iwo
Westland University, Iwo, is a private institution based in Iwo, Osun State, Nigeria.[1]
History
The journey of institution began in 1984, when the Proprietor, Dr Eng. Wole Adepoju established the Cedaespring Technical Institute before metamorphosing into a full fledged university. In 2019, Westland University was granted provisional license by the Federal Executive Council to commenced academic programmes.[2][3]
Management team
The management team is led by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Andrew Oshiotse Okwilagwe, formerly of University of Ibadan and supervised by the Governing Council headed by Prof Babatunde Adeleke, two times Vice-Chancellor Adeleke University, Ogbomosho.
Programmes
The National University Commission, NUC, have accredited and approved over 20 programmes at university.[4]
