Willy Moser

Willy Moser (April 2, 1941 – November 2, 1994) was an Austrian-born Italian actor and voice actor.[1]

Biography

Born in Salzburg, Moser began an intense career as a voice actor in Italy during the 1960s dubbing many characters in animated productions and even made collaborations with Franco Latini. Moser was the Italian voice of Kermit the Frog in The Muppet Show until he was replaced by Mino Caprio in all other Muppet productions and was also the first voice of Shaggy Rogers in the Italian dub of Scooby-Doo. He even dubbed Bugs Bunny from the 1970s until the 1990s.

Moser provided Italian dialogue for animated films and television shows such as Who Framed Roger Rabbit and The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends and he also founded his own dubbing society known as Mops Film. Moser even had a career as a television and stage actor.

Death

Moser died in Rome of liver cancer on November 2nd 1994 at the age of 53.
