Wonder cement

Wonder Cement Limited, is an Indian cement producing company that is based out of Rajasthan.[7] It was started in 2010 under RK Group.[8] It manufactures Portland pozzolana and ordinary Portland cement for plaster, brickwork, and other construction applications.[9]

Plants

In 2012, the company set up its first unit in Nimbahera, Rajasthan, with 3 million tonnes per annum.[10] In 2015, Wonder Cement added another unit taking its annual cement production to 6.75 million tonnes.[11] In 2018, the company invested 450 crores to set up 2 million tonnes per annum clinker grinding unit in Dhule, Maharashtra.[12] [13] [14] In 2019, Wonder Cement invested 1100 crores to build a 3rd plant at Nimbahera in Rajasthan's Chittorgarh district increasing its annual capacity of producing close to 11 million tonne cement.[15] [16] [17] [18] [19] In 2020, Wonder Cement invested 800 crores to set up cement plants in Badnawar and Jhajjar which increased the annual capacity to 13 million tonne cement.[20] [21] [22] [23]

In 2018, Wonder Cement was recognized as Asia's Most Promising Brand 2018, in the cement category by iBrands 360 WCRCINT research.[24] [25] [26]
