Xilai Temple

Xilai Temple (simplified Chinese: 西来寺; traditional Chinese: 西來寺) is a Buddhist temple located at Xilaisi Alley, Minzhu West Street, Ganzhou District, Zhangye City, Gansu Province.[2] It was built in the Tang Dynasty[3] and rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty. It was reconstructed and renamed to its present name in the fifty-ninth year of the Kangxi (1720).[4]

History

In 2006, Xilai Temple was listed by the SCC as one of Chinese National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.[5]
