Yeu Kashi Tashi Me Nandayla

The story revolves around a typical middle-class girl, Avani (Sweetu) who gets hired for a job based in Mumbai. Her mother Nalu, drops in and requests Sweetu to stay with her mother's childhood friend, Shaku, to reduce the travel required to reach her new workplace. When they both reach her place, they are surprised to find a royal house. During their visit, Sweetu is introduced by chance to Shaku's son Omkar (Om). The show then follows the love story between Sweetu and Omkar, and their conflict with Omkar's elder sister Malvika, who despises Sweetu and her mother due to their poor financial condition.

Avani Salvi (Sweetu) who lives in Ambernath, a suburb, gets hired for a job in Mumbai. To avoid the discomfort of traveling, her mother Nalu insists that she stay with her childhood friend Shaku in Mumbai. To seek permission, they visit Shaku in Mumbai and are shocked upon seeing her royal house. They enter the house and meet Shaku who is elated to see her long-lost best friend. Nalu and Shaku reminisce about their childhood while Sweetu accidentally enters Omkar's room. Omkar is dancing in his towel in the room and both are extremely embarrassed and barely look at one another. Omkar mistakenly believes her to be a thief. Later, Shaku clears Omkar's confusion. When Omkar and Shaku learn about Sweetu's stay, they feel elated whereas Omkar's elder sister Malvika hates Sweetu and Nalu due to their poor financial conditions and berates them at every instance.

For the expansion of Khanvilkar Industries, Malvika arranges Omkar's alliance with Momo, her business friend's daughter and also hires Sweetu as Momo's personal assistant. Sweetu becomes the lucky charm of the company and cracks various deals with her quick and holistic thinking. Omkar and Shaku are happy for Sweetu's work. As Omkar and Sweetu slowly start spending more time together, Omkar unknowingly starts falling in love with Sweetu, who also seems to be very close to him. Shaku also wants Sweetu to be Omkar's wife who can take care of Omkar and his family.

As Nalu wants Sweetu to get married, asks Sweetu to meet an NRI who sells women and gets money through it. Omkar, after an indication from Chinya (Sweetu's brother) saves Sweetu's life from the fraud alliance. Omkar confesses his love for Sweetu in front of Shaku and she gets elated. When Nalu learns about Omkar's love Sweetu, she asks Omkar and Sweetu to stay away from each other as Malvika berates Nalu stating families from low societies can't be as same as those from upper societies. When Nalu discloses Omkar's feeling for Sweetu to her, she starts to maintain a distance with Omkar. Omkar learns about this and feels sad. Meanwhile, Malvika announces Omkar's engagement with Momo which saddened Sweetu, Shaku and Omkar. Sweetu also start realising her feelings for Omkar, but doesn't disclose for the sake of Nalu and Momo. Sweetu and her father get her registered at Marriage bureau for her alliance, but doesn't get any proposals due to Sweetu's healthy physique.

Omkar, Shaku and Rocky try to make Sweetu express her feelings for Omkar while Malvika and Mohit try to expand their business by Omkar and Momo's alliance. Mohit dislikes Malvika's estranged behaviour towards him and hence decides to retaliate. Later, he misrepresents his feelings for Sweetu to Nalu, and hence, Nalu blindly urges for Mohit and Sweetu's alliance even though everyone opposes it. On the occasion of Holi, Omkar and Sweetu come closer. This further angers Mohit, who then takes Sweetu on a hill and abandons her there. He then calls Om in a changed voice and tells him Sweetu is in danger. Worried Om saves Sweetu yet again. Mohit brings Malvika to the hill, telling her Om and Sweetu have gone there alone at night. When they arrive, they can't find Om and Sweetu and Mohit is insulted by Malvika yet again. Om leaves Sweetu home, but Mohit is already there and has deceived Nalu. Nalu screams at Sweetu and asks her why she is always with Om when she is not supposed to be.

Omkar proposes to Sweetu and she sadly rejects the proposal remembering Nalu's words and her promise. Shaku learns of Omkar's proposal to Sweetu and reaches Ambernath and asks Nalu for their alliance, but she rejects and asks her to keep Omkar away from Sweetu which depresses Shaku. Mohit and his mother visit Salvi's and insults Sweetu, which causes Nalu to also feel insulted. Momo is revealed to be a fraud and is actually a beggar who is planning to loot the Khanvilkar by marrying Om. On the other hand, Dada Salvi feels bad since Nalu berates Om every time and scolds her. Om breaks his engagement with Momo which makes Malvika angry and she threatens Shaku to punish her if found guilty and hence, Shaku retaliates against her and scolds her for bad behavior towards others. When Nalu fixes Sweetu's engagement with Mohit, Om temporarily halts in her house for Sweetu's realisation. On the engagement day Mohit and his mother insult Sweetu and the Salvi's every instance.

Malvika also arrives the venue who was invited by Mohit with a hidden motive to expose Om. Mohit succeeds when Om publicly reveals his love for Sweetu which results to cancel the engagement. Malvika is left shocked by Omkar's revelation and decides to create rift between the two. Malvika instigates Om and Sweetu against each other which creates differences between the two. Om decides to move to London to take care of International business. With Rocky and Chinya's help, Sweetu confesses her love to Om and asks him to return in the nick of time. Malvika gets agitated with this act and hence, poison's Nalu's mind and threats her. She also offer Dada and Sweetu job's in the company. She vows to destroy the Salvi family. Elsewhere, Sweetu and Omkar start an official relationship. Dada gets appointed in Khanvilkar Group of Company on Malvika's insistence. Malvika tries to humiliate and harass him. Salvi's and Khanvilkar's celebrate Nalu's birthday in Khanvilkar's house which angers Malvika also, Om gifts Sweetu a new and expensive phone. Sweetu hesitate earlier, but later accepts. Sweetu get appointed to ja job in a company. Nalu learns of this and misunderstands that Om has helped in the process and asks her to quit the job and hears her appointed as beautician much to dismay to all.

Malvika instigates Nalu against Om via Sweetu's employer stating worsening Sweetu's image in the society. Nalu becomes agitated and hence, arranges an alliance meeting for Sweetu. Due to Nalu's constant effort for Sweetu's marriage and her odd behaviour towards him, an irritated Om asks marriage proposal for Sweetu in front of Nalu. Nalu gets agitated, rejects the proposal and asks Om to leave Sweetu alone. An adamant Om decides to change Nalu's decision. Nalu bets Om to earn Rupees 25,000 without his Khanvilkar rich background and also residing in the same chawl with renting a room to test his love for Sweetu. With his contact, Om appoints Chinya io a corporate job. Om faces my problems due to high standards of living while searching for a job and while residing in the chawl. Eventually, Omkar earns the amount and Salvi's except Nalu feel elated. Omkar and Sweetu also share some quality time and strengthen their bond. On Chinya's first day of job, Mohit pushes him outside the train causing his fatal accident. Malvika learns about Mohit's dangerous move and decides to cover this by helping them during the crisis.

Nalu and Shaku fixes Om and Sweetu's wedding, disappointing Malvika, who becomes obstructive. All the pre-wedding rituals take place in Sweetu's chawl. Due to discomfort, Malvika mocks the Salvi's and ask Mohit to trick the Salvis. On wedding day, Malvika manipulates Dada Salvi to commit suicide and managing Om to rescue him and tricking the Salvi's and Khanvilkar's into believing that Om has ditched Sweetu. She also manipulates Nalu and Shaku to get Sweetu married with Mohit. Malvika separates Om and Sweetu. Due to Om's absence, Shaku oust him from Khanvilkar house and he lands in Salvi's house when Nalu learns the truth. Sweetu and Mohit reside in Khanvilkar house on Shaku's insistence. Days later Sweetu's marriage with Mohit, Omkar and Sweetu join the same company and become colleagues. Nalu and Dada also reveal the entire truth to Shaku. Later, Sweetu learns from Dada about the true story.

The show has received criticism for its plot and tracks such as the heroine's brother falling from a train, the lead actress married to the supporting actor, exaggeration of conspiracy and harassment.
