Zhang Ze Tong

Zhang Ze Tong (Chinese: 张哲通; pinyin: zhāng zhé tòng (born Teoh Ze Tong, 22 January 1993), is a Malaysian actor, singer, and presenter based in Singapore. Zhang participated in Mediacorp's' Star Search 2019 and won the championship. He was signed on by Mediacorp's The Celebrity Agency after winning the contest. His debut work was All Around You as the lead actor.[2] Zhang won his first award, Best Newcomer Award at Star Awards 2021, for the show, A Jungle Survivor.[3]

In this Chinese name, the family name is Teoh.

Career

Zhang participated in Mediacorp's Star Search 2019 and chose Christopher Lee as mentor. He eventually won the contest.[4]

Zhang made his television debut with meWATCH online series All Around You as Chen Shi Xiang and Mediacorp Channel 8 drama A Jungle Survivor as Zhong Jian Ting.[5] He also partnered his former mentor, Christopher Lee, hosting a programme Aus-some Getaway.

Zhang also crossed over to Mediacorp Channel 5's television drama Slow Dancing as Kaden Leung.[6] He has also acted in Key Witness and upcoming drama The Take Down.
