Host

On October 14, 2021, it was announced that the game had been awarded to the city of Hamilton.[1] Hamilton was awarded the game only two years after being the host of the 108th Grey Cup due to restrictions for that game caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada.[1] It will be the shortest time frame for a repeat host since Vancouver hosted the 74th Grey Cup and 75th Grey Cup in 1986 and 1987.[2]

Date

The date of this game was not announced, but if pre-pandemic scheduling formulas are used, then this game would be played on November 19, 2023 (the third Sunday of November).[3]
