Division of slots
Number of slots for each region is based on the level of development of the countries/regions.
- Rich countries/regions (like North America, Brazil, Japan, South Korea) that have potential development in Valorant with huge player base, huge viewer base, will be given priority slot to attend directly, and teams just compete only in their local VALORANT Challengers to qualify for VALORANT Masters and accumulate points for a local Circuit Point standings.
- On the contrary, teams from less developed countries/regions must compete in their local competition at first to qualify VALORANT Challengers, then have to compete with foreigner teams in a larger area (like some countries in EMEA, Southeast Asia and Latin America) to qualify for VALORANT Masters and accumulate points for a shared Circuit Point standings.

Notes
- Riot Games' definition for EMEA is divided into 4 regions: Europe, CIS, Turkey and MENA (refers to Arab countries) and must share the EMEA Circuit Point Standings.
- Refers to the United States and Canada. Countries in Central America and the Caribbean compete in the Latin America region.
- Refers to defacto Latin America.
- Riot Games does not allow teams from Oceania to participate directly in VALORANT Masters and VALORANT Champions. And although locate at Asia Pacific, Oceania teams must compete in North America Last Chance Qualifiers to qualify VALORANT Champions (then couldn't take part in due to mobility issues during COVID-19).
- Refers to Hispanic America. Riot Games' definition of lower-regions for Latin America is divided into 2 sub-regions, but must share the LATAM Circuit Point Standings:
- Latin America North: refers to Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela, Puerto Rico and all countries in Central America and the Caribbean.
- Latin America South: refers to Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.
- Team from China couldn't compete at all events of VCT in this year due to the late release of the game. The two slots for China in Asia Pacific Last Chance Qualifier were given priority to Japan and South Korea with one slot each (although have already 2 slots each), instead of other Southeast Asia countries/regions that didn't have any slot at Last Chance Qualifier and VALORANT Champions like as Vietnam and Taiwan+Hong Kong
- Riot Games' definition of lower-regions for Southeast Asia is extended only to the following teams from countries/regions which released Valorant: Indonesia, Malaysia+Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, but included Taiwan+Hong Kong from East Asia. All regions must share the Southeast Asia Circuit Point Standings. Players from Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Timor-Leste can play as domestic players of Southeast Asia for those teams.
- Riot Games does not allow teams from South Asia to participate directly in VALORANT Masters and VALORANT Champions. They could only compete in Asia Pacific Last Chance Qualifiers to qualify for VALORANT Champions.
- Riot Games does not allow teams from MENA to participate directly in EMEA VALORANT Masters, so MENA teams couldn't accumulate points for EMEA Circuit Point Standings. They could only compete in EMEA Last Chance Qualifiers to qualify for VALORANT Champions.
- Teams from Vietnam couldn't compete at VALORANT Challangers Stage 1 of Southeast Asia due to the late release of the game. So no one team could get any Circuit Point.
