The 2022 Indy Lights season will be the 36th season of the Indy Lights open wheel motor racing series and the 20th sanctioned by IndyCar, acting as the primary support series for the IndyCar Series.

  • On September 24, 2021, it was announced that IndyCar will become the sanctioning body of the Indy Lights series, taking over from Andersen Promotions, who remain responsible for the rest of the Road to Indy.[1]
